Welcome to Divine Companion ("Divine Companion", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Divine Companion mobile application, the website at divinecompanion.thecarecircle.in, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make bookings, offerings or payments through the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Divine Companion is a technology platform that (a) facilitates the booking of pujas, rituals, chadhava and offerings at partner temples and with independent pandits and priests; (b) provides astrology, horoscope, panchang and related content, including consultations with independent astrologers; (c) provides devotional content such as aartis, mantras, bhajans, festival calendars and community features; and (d) facilitates donations to temples and religious institutions. Divine Companion acts as an intermediary and facilitator. Pujas, rituals and consultations are performed by third-party temples, pandits and astrologers ("Service Partners"), who are independent of Divine Companion.

To use certain features you must create an account using a valid mobile number and/or email address. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@rakshafin.com of any unauthorised use.

When you book a puja or make an offering, you will be asked for sankalp details such as name, gotra and other information. It is your responsibility to ensure these details are accurate; we are not responsible for errors in information you provide. Puja dates and times are indicative and may change due to temple schedules, weather, festivals or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any change. Puja videos and photographs, where offered, are provided as a record of the ritual and may be delayed.

Where prasad or other physical items are offered, we will dispatch them to the address you provide within the indicated timeframe. Delivery timelines are estimates. Prasad is a sacred, perishable item; minor variations in quantity, appearance or contents may occur and do not constitute a defect. Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are correct.

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (such as UPI, cards, net banking and wallets). We do not store your full card details. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Donations made through the Services are voluntary contributions to the specified temple or institution. Divine Companion may deduct a disclosed platform or payment-processing fee where applicable. Donations are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law. Tax receipts, if any, are issued by the recipient institution and not by Divine Companion.

Astrology, horoscope, panchang and spiritual content and consultations are provided for informational, cultural and spiritual purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Divine Companion does not guarantee the accuracy, outcome or effectiveness of any prediction, remedy, ritual or consultation. Please see our Disclaimer.

You agree not to: (a) use the Services for any unlawful purpose; (b) post or transmit content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that hurts religious sentiments; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; (e) copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell any part of the Services; or (f) interfere with the proper functioning of the Services. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

If you post reviews, comments or other content, you grant Divine Companion a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and distribute that content in connection with the Services. You are responsible for your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, audio, video, software and design, is owned by or licensed to Divine Companion and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or content without prior written permission.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (payment gateways, maps, analytics). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divine Companion and its affiliates, officers, employees and Service Partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking or service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Divine Companion and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by emailing admin@rakshafin.com.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the following, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us; failing which it may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration at Bengaluru and proceedings conducted in English.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the contact details of the Grievance Officer are: Name: Grievance Officer, Divine Companion; Email: admin@rakshafin.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
